Welcome to my Yoga page!
There is so much information about yoga, especially for the beginner, that it can be hard to create a framework of principles that make sense. My intent is to offer classes that are light-hearted yet aim to build strength and awareness.
Each class is built around increasing awareness of alignment and biomechanics. We may choose some poses and look at them carefully, exploring different approaches and deepening our understanding of common physical challenges. You can take the things that you learn in my class and integrate them into your own practice wherever you go.
I also like to throw in fun movement exercises and myofascial release techniques from other disciplines. Please come and ask questions and have some fun!
